The Day After Halloween

So...I decided to take some pictures with Lauren dressed up with all of her goodies. Boy did the girl make out...candy, cards, bears, purse, baby food and MONEY!!! Check her out!!

During our photo shoot, the candy police came and said that Lauren broke the Halloween Safety Rule...Have an adult check your candy before eating. Lauren said, "I was checking to see if my daddy would like his Reeces." Lauren commited a crime and was sentenced to baby jail. In the blink of an eye she went from being a Love Bug to...a Jail Baby with her very own stripes!!

Halloween Day and Night

The weather on Halloween day was in the lower 80's so Grandy, Aunt Bebby, Nana, Lauren and I took a trip to Onslow Beach aka Base Beach. It was overcast which was perfect for relaxing, playing in the sand and breathing in the salty air!

After our beach outing, we came home, had some dinner and got ready for Trick-or-Treating. Lauren did not want to take an afternoon nap so she was a little cranky. I almost thought we were not going to be able to go but she pulled through. We had a great night filled with lots of smiles and pictures!! We went to three houses:

Lauren at my parents house

Lauren with Papa Ed

Lauren at Robbie's parents house where the paparazzi were waiting!

Halloween Eve!

Lauren spent the day with her Nana (my mom), Grandy, Papa and Aunt Bebby in Jacksonville on Friday. I joined them after work for dinner and thought I would surprise them by dressing Lauren up in her costume. They loved their little Love Bug!

Lauren at the Pumpkin Patch

Robbie and I took Lauren to the Swansboro First Baptist Church pumpkin patch so she could pick out her own pumpkin. At first all she wanted to do was play with the hay but she soon warmed up to the pumpkins. Her little pointer fingers started to check the pumpkins out by poking them and feeling the stems. We sat her near the small pumpkins and she crawled over and picked out her two. She would pick one up, shake it in her hands and would then hold it up like she knew it was hers. She was so stinkin' cute!

Lauren is Ten Months Old

Yikes...ten months old! It feels like I was just writing the post for nine months old. Does anyone know how to slow down time? If you do...call or email!! Anyways, Lauren is crawling and pulling herself up on things. She will walk if you guide her. She has two teeth coming in on the top and another one on the bottom. She is making all sorts of facial expressions. If you want cheap entertainment...come on by! She is talking up a storm. She is the best thing in the world and we thank God for her everyday! Here are some pictures of Lauren in her camoflauge dress from Aunt Tammy, Uncle Jamie and Hunter. I love the lace around her neck and check out her PIGTAILS!!

Look Aunt Deb...I'm "SO BIG!!"

Lauren at the Mullet Festival

My mom and I brought Lauren to her first Mullet Festival Saturday. We had a great time! Lauren and Nana (my mom) even did a little "dancin' in the street" to the band that was playing! She was definitely checking everyone and everything out. It was great to see friends who I haven't seen in a while and for them to meet Lauren. Here are a few pics...

Lauren visits Onslow Beach

Last weekend Lauren, my mom and my Nana headed to Onslow Beach. We made our little spot down at Riseley Pier. We enjoyed the beautiful weather, sandwiches, stroller walk, conversations and of course watching Lauren play with sand. It was a beautiful day to get out and take in some salty air!!
