Laura is 50!

Yes...my mom turned the big 50 on New Years Day! What a great way to ring in the New Year! On January 2nd, she had a birthday party with her best friend Becky who was also turning 50 on January 4th! The party was a huge success! It was a beach theme party since the beach is their favorite place! What a great way to celebrate two gorgeous ladies who have been best friends since 8th grade!

WHAT A BLESSED DAY!!!

Christmas Day

We continued our busy schedule on Christmas Day. First, we got up and checked to see if Santa came. He did! All of his cookies were gone but he left some milk and a note! Lauren had a little cold but that didn't stop her from opening presents!

Good Morning Lauren!! It's Christmas!

Then we went to GiGi's (Grandma Dolly) church where we had Christmas breakfast. It was delicious! Lauren had eggs, grits and a banana. After breakfast, we went and played on the church's playground. Lauren had so much fun!

Afterwards, we went home where Lauren took a little nap before my family arrived to have Christmas dinner and open presents.

Our own Miss Clause!

Lauren was getting hot so we had to shed the Miss Clause suit!

Trying to get Lauren to walk but she said, "Enough already!I'm tired"

Christmas Eve

Lauren remembered that her Aunt Bebby had just got a new computer. She thought a mouse pad would be a great Christmas gift. So we decided to take some pictures of her in her coat that her Aunt Bebby got her and get one made. It turned out really cute!

Later that night, we went to church for a Christmas Eve service. It was a nice service filled with great music and words that reminded us of what Christmas is all about. After church, we went to the Towler's house to celebrate with Robbie's family. As to be expected, Lauren enjoyed herself with her new presents!

It was getting late so we headed home to get ready for Santa! She put milk in her sippy cup, cookies in her bowl and wrote Santa a nice letter. She is so smart! Then it was off to bed!
