I PASSED...YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!

I received word on Friday that I PASSED my National Boards!! I am officially a Nationally Board Certified Teacher!! It was a long haul but it was well worth it. Thank you to all of my family and friends who have supported me through this long process. I could not have done it without you!!

Lauren at 36 Weeks Old

Here is a face shot of Lauren at 36 weeks old. As always...she was sleeping and did not want to move to get her picture taken. It is hard to tell but the lady who performed the ultrasound said that is her elbow near her cheek.

She is still laying breech so we have scheduled a planned c-section for December 11, 2008!! If by chance she turns and I do not go into labor by the 11th, then my doctor will induce me. The specialist I am seeing does not want me to go past 39 weeks for precautionary measures. Either way...Robbie and I cannot wait to meet our beautiful girl!!

November 15, 2008 Baby Shower

I am very blessed to be a part of such a wonderful and caring church...New River Baptist. Thank you to everyone who attended. It was truly a blessing to have you all share in this special occassion!! God Bless you all!!

November 4, 2008 Baby Shower

I want to give a big thank you to the hosts of my baby shower: Shirl, Diane, Madelyn, Judy, and Cyndi. You did an awesome job! Aunt Jayne...thank you for coming all the way from Mississippi to surprise me!! Erin...thank you for being my photographer! Janet...thank you for being a great sport and taking on the role of becoming a ROOSTER!! Susan F...thank you for making the beautiful centerpieces and corsages! To all of my family and friends who attended...thank you and I love you all!! It was a party filled with great food, laughter, and entertainment!!

34 Weeks Old

Here is Lauren at 34 weeks old. Her face is so adorable with those chubby cheeks!! Robbie went with me to have another non-stress test and everything sounded great. Her heart was just a beating! We will go back in one week to have the test redone and to check the amniotic fluids again. She is still laying breech so we hope that she will decide to turn on her own within the next 2-3 weeks. She continues to be very active. I think she had her first hiccups last night! They felt so great!!

Lauren Tyler Hall

We have finally decided on a name! We are naming our precious little girl Lauren Tyler Hall. Lauren is a combination of our mothers names...Laura and Karen. Tyler was my middle name. We loved the two names together and they both are so meaningful that we thought Lauren Tyler is perfect!

Lauren at 32 Weeks 6 Days Old

I had a doctors visit today with my regular OB doctor. The specialist I am seeing wants me to have a non-stress test and an ultra sound every week until delivery. Since I am labeled high-risk they just want to keep an eagle eye on her and her growth. Everything looks great!!! My mom went with me today and was so excited to see Lauren on the screen and hear her heartbeat during the test. Below is a picture that was taken during the ultra sound. She is still laying breech and her hand was beside her face AGAIN so it was still hard to find a good angle. We can't wait to meet her!!

32 Weeks Old

Well...we had another ultra sound today. She was not very photogenic. She was content with sleeping so we were unable to get any good pictures to post. She had one hand over her face and the other by her head. Right now she is laying breech so we hope she will start to turn. I think she is trying because she is laying in somewhat of a J or U shape. Everything continues to look well. We were told that she has hair on her head, chubby cheeks, and weighs approximately 4lbs.7oz. Who could ask for more?! :)

Nursery

Here are a few pictures of the nursery. We are not finished yet! I just thought I would give everyone a sneak preview. We are going with a butterfly theme as you can tell by the bedding, curtains, and lamp. We are also doing a "Pooh Corner" since I love Winnie the Pooh. The picture that is shown on the rocking chair is a picture of the Classical Pooh and Piglet fishing off of a dock. I couldn't pass it up since I am married to a Captain who loves to fish!! We'll post more pictures when we are finished! :)

28 Weeks Old

Here is Sweet Pea at 28 weeks old. The doctor said her heart, brain, and organs look healthy. She weighs approximately 2lbs. 10oz. We are still working on a name. These pictures were taken on September 25, 2008.
